Electronic Toll Collection at the Peace Bridge
What is E-ZPass?
E-ZPass is an electronic toll collection technology that makes traveling more convenient, helps reduce traffic congestion, and saves you money at the Peace Bridge.
Conventional toll collection methods require you to deposit coins, tickets, and tokens at toll plazas. This hurts highway capacity because the number of vehicles that can be processed at toll plazas is limited.
With E-ZPass, account information on an electronic tag installed in your car is read by a receiving antenna in the toll lane and the toll is electronically deducted from your prepaid toll account.
