This toll adjustment is being done in accordance with the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority Board’s toll currency equity policy which reviews, on a quarterly basis, the Canadian toll rate based on the average exchange rate during the previous three months. Commercial truck rates are also adjusted in a similar manner.

The Peace Bridge Authority encourages motorists to sign up for E-ZPass as it is the most cost effective and efficient way to cross the bridge and accurately reflects the exchange rate on a daily basis for Canadians. Application can easily be made by calling 1-866-522-6080 or at www.pbaezpass.com.

The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority, a binational bridge authority, has owned and operated the Peace Bridge and Customs plazas since 1933. The bridge, which was opened to traffic in 1927, spans the Niagara River between Fort Erie, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York, and is a key international border crossing. The Authority is governed by a 10 member board with an equal number of representatives from Canada and the United States.
