PBA Awards Construction Management Contract to LPCiminelli

BUFFALO, NY/FORT ERIE, ON – The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority (PBA) board of directors today selected WNY-based LPCiminelli as Construction Manager for the renovation of the federal U.S. Customs Plaza Commercial Secondary Building. LPCiminelli was awarded the $1.5 million contract following a competitive bidding process initiated by the PBA in December 2012. The total value of the renovation project once complete is estimated to be roughly $20+ million.

Regional NEXUS Enrollments Rise 23%

BUFFALO, NY/FORT ERIE, ON – Today the NEXUS Niagara campaign team – consisting of the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority (PBA), Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC), Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Southern Ontario Region, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) – announced a 23% increase in NEXUS program enrollments at the region's two official registration centers located in Fort Erie, Ontario (Peace Bridge) and Niagara Falls, New York (Whirlpool Bridge).
