Tim Clutterbuck Elected Chair of PBA Board of Directors

BUFFALO, NY/FORT ERIE, ON – The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority (PBA) today announced the election of Tim Clutterbuck as Chair of its board of directors and Kenneth A. Manning as Vice-Chair.

Tim Clutterbuck was elected Chair of the PBA Board of Directors. He was appointed to the Board by the Government of Canada in February 2017 and was recently reappointed to another four year term. Clutterbuck is the President of Valbruna ASW Steel Inc. in Welland, Ontario. He also serves as the Chairman of Welland Hydro Electric Holding Corporation and is Past Chairman of the Welland Hydro Electric System Corp.

 Kenneth A. Manning was elected Vice Chair.  He was first appointed to the Board by Governor Andrew Cuomo in June 2016.  Manning is a partner at Phillips Lytle, where he focuses on bet-the-company corporate and commercial litigation.  He is highly recognized for his legal excellence by Upstate New York Super Lawyers® – Named Top 50 Lawyer; Best Lawyers® – 2021 Bet-the-Company Litigation "Lawyer of the Year" in Buffalo; and Chambers USA – Band 1 distinction – in Commercial Litigation.  Mr. Manning also serves on the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Board of Directors.

The PBA is governed by a ten-member board, consisting of five members from New York State and five members from Canada. The chair alternates annually between a Canadian and an American.

The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority, a binational bridge authority, has owned and operated the Peace Bridge since 1933. The bridge, which was opened to traffic in 1927, spans the Niagara River between Fort Erie, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York, and is a key international border crossing.
